Let's Play Some Ball

It. Is. The. Most. Wonderful. Time. Of. The. Year. I’m not talking Santa Clause, but I am talking presents. Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, it’s football season. That’s right. Today is the first day of training camp. Start the drama. Fire up the band. Spider 2 Y Banana. Keep an eye on the injury lists and still (in my opinion) too early fantasy draft boards. The pigskin is flying. Amazon’s “All or Nothing” is running. HBO’s “Hard Knocks” is a comin’. If you didn’t read this first paragraph in a semi-Jon Gruden voice and cadence, please go do it again. It makes it better, and it makes me feel better that you might think that I know what I’m talking about. The Panthers’ secondary is an absolute liability. See, I do know what I’m talking about.

But seriously, welcome to the 2019-2020 football season, and thank you for joining me today at Crisp 56. I have a feeling it is going to be an amazing season, and you’ll want to come back every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to catch up on the hottest opinions surrounding the NFL. You might also want to pay a visit to the blog on any other day, or multiple times during a single day. I work a 9-5 in a cube too, and I will not judge your method (or day/time) of consumption. My takes will be sizzling. My content might favor the Panthers from time to time. My opinions will be 100% unfiltered, and completely my own. *They might coincidentally be the same opinions as another person on twitter every now and then. Don’t sue me. That’s just my legal way of saying these views are not endorsed by my company; a company that has absolutely nothing to do with sports and will probably be upset with me when they find out about this. But this is America. Dammit I’ll say what I want. Respect my 3rd Amendment rights!

I won’t get into the storylines or team breakdowns quite yet. This is just my way of saying hello, and welcome! Thank you for taking a few minutes to read what I have to say. I hope you’ll come back, and who knows, there might be some other avenues of content along the way. Let’s just strap in, establish the run, hit em at the point of attack, do your job, and PLAY SOME FOOTBALL! Here’s to a good season, friends. I’m looking forward to enjoying this season with you all, and giving you a little bit of content to get you through to next Sunday. But not you, Matt Ryan.
